Technical Teleconferences
Bi-Monthly California Teleconferences (no registration fee)
Californians may participate, at no charge, in a bi-monthly statewide technical teleconference conducted by SafetyBeltSafe U.S.A. with support from California Department of Health Services and California of Office of Traffic Safety. Notification of the teleconferences and CEU information is sent automatically to all California Technicians and Instructors. California Technical Teleconference, Request for CEU.
National teleconferences are no longer available. Groups outside of California may contract with SafetyBeltSafe U.S.A. to provide technical teleconferences for their Technicians and Instructors.
Educator Workshop
March 23, 2010; 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Please submit registration form by March 16.

This course is approved for 6 contact hours by the California Board of Registered Nursing and 3 CEUs for Certified Technicians and Instructors.
All attendees are expected to participate in at least one subsequent checkup to complete hands-on training.

Hospital Policy Workshop
April 8, 2010, 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm
Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Torrance, CA
This is recommended for hospital staff, including risk managers and managers of departments that treat infants and children. Participants will be able to help their hospitals develop or improve policies and procedures to be in compliance with California law.

CPS National Certification Course
April 19-22, 2010; 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Los Angeles, CA
Mandatory checkup Friday, April 23, location to be announced.
Participant fee $950;Safe Kids Certification fee $75.
This course is approved for contact hours for nurses.
Prerequisite: Educator Workshop and participation in at least one safety seat checkup (see above).
